My top 10 of 2014

Okay, so every year I say I am going to do a post with my top 10 layouts from that year...do I do it? Ha, well I just got done doing this wonderful blog hop over at 17 Turtles. I saw such wonderful inspiration everyone was sharing it really lit a fire under me. Oh yeah...besides the inspiration there are prizes along the way AND a grand prize of $75 to spend over at Paper Issues! Okay...before you have a look at what I considered my favorite layouts of the year I have one favor to ask...I recently created a new blog and lost all of my followers so if you could be so kind as to follow my blog, one lucky follower will win a little something from me as a thank you! I have been fortunate and grateful to be able to work as a Design Team member over at We R Memory Keepers so with all the wonderful products they have to offer it is no wonder that the majority of my favorite layouts are created with these products. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed making them...

Lucky...

So a couple of weeks ago my daughter agreed to come out to the forest preserve down the street from our house so I could take some photos of her. Let me just say once we started taking a few she really started getting into it so needless to say I have about 100+ photos from that day! When I was going through them I noticed that they matched with several of the We R Memory Keepers Christmas lines...yes, I said Christmas. I had a hard time deciding which line to use...so I used them all! This layout has papers and embellishments from the "Shine" line, papers from the "Silver and Gold" line and some papers from the "Yuletide" line. I just love how I can mix and match and how well all 3 of these lines go together.

Out with the old, In with the new!

So after thinking long and hard, I have decided to start a brand new blog. My old one needed so much editing and upgrading I figured it would just be easier to start a new one. So besides sharing with you a new blog I am sharing with you a layout that I created using some of the new We R Memory Keepers papers from the Shine collection. I wanted to create something simple to showcase the beautiful angel that sits atop our Christmas tree every year. The papers in this collection were perfect...just enough "rustic" with the country wood grains and just enough "sparkle" with the splashes of gold to really help my photo "SHINE!"
